sesame sweet potato balls

6 large sweet potatoes
8 tablespoon sugar
1 egg
1 cup sesame seeds
1/2 cup flour
oil for frying
in a large saucepan,place 2 cups of water.bring to a boil and add the sweet potatoes.steam until soft, drain them peel and mash them. when they have cooled add sugar and egg and roll int two-inch balls. mix together 1/2 cup of flour and a little water to make a soft batter. add sesame seeds.roll balls in the batter before deep frying in hot oil. drain and serve.
